Bio

Started in 2002 Earthmusic has moved around a bit before settling where the studio currently resides just five minutes from Belfast City Centre, it is the second commercial studio venture that I have managed having first co-owned Discipline Studios in Tottenham North London in the 90's.

Born in Belfast I moved to London with local band Chat Quixote to pursue the 'rockstar' dream and stayed in the big smoke for almost ten years spending time in subsequent London bands IF THIS WAS YOU and lastly TO BE BLONDE before heading to San Francisco where I managed to do some production and engineer work with various entities before returning to my native Belfast a married person.

My first instrument is guitar but over the years I've had to adapt to the demands of studio work and added keys, bass, programming and vocals. I have also added 'live' sound engineering to the pot and have covered many shows in most of Belfast's small venues and currently reside as 'inhouse' engineer with McHughs Basement and The Pavilion.

In the past I have written music for The Belfast Communtiy Circus and also composed and arranged music for C21 Theatre Company. I have been releasing original material as Babysun for the past number of years and also manage Grand Parade Music Publishing.
